Espace Bernadette Soubirous Nevers

Historic pilgrim retreat with direct access to St. Bernadette's chapel in Nevers

Pilgrimage and Spiritual Life

Hotel Espace Bernadette Soubirous Nevers is located in the same building where St. Bernadette lived and died, with the room where she passed away just 30 steps from guest rooms. The chapel housing the body of St. Bernadette is accessible on site, allowing guests to visit and pray throughout the day. Daily Mass and prayer services are held in the chapel, and the hotel offers walking tours about local culture for deeper spiritual engagement.

Grounds and Gardens

The hotel occupies a 10 acre park that served as the sanctuary of Bernadette Soubirous, with paths she walked leading to a statue of St. Mary at the far end. Guests can explore the garden, use the outdoor furniture, or gather at the picnic area. The park is a quiet, secure environment with CCTV and 24-hour security for safety.
